Ken Perkins - Registered Physical Therapist and Certified OrthotistKEN PERKINS, PT/CO

Ken founded Maine Orthotic & Prosthetic Rehab Services in 1983.

"I have always had an interest in human movement. The fields of orthotics and physical therapy blend the analysis of human structure and movement in fascinating ways. The resulting design and creation of devices that improve function and reduce or eliminate pain is challenging and makes mine a very rewarding profession."

Gail Fitzmaurice, CO Maine Orthotic and Prosthetic Rehab Services

GAIL FITZMAURICE, CO

Gail is a certified orthotist who has been with Maine Orthotics and Prosthetics for 20 years. She evaluates and fits patients for a wide variety of prefabricated and custom designed braces.

"I chose this field because I enjoy helping people. It is quite an accomplishment to help people be happy and pain free, get back into their daily activities, or be able to walk for the first time since their injury. I am a very positive person when treating patients, connecting with them by being a good listener. This is also my philosophy in my daily life."

ALISON MACMULLIN, CO

Alison is a certified orthotist with over 25 years experience
practicing in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and now Maine.

"My goal is to promote increased personal independence, effectiveness
and efficiency through the provision of adapted/customized tools and

technology to help patients reach their goals."

KEITH D. CORNELL, CP, FAAOP            

Keith Cornell received his pre med undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm’s College and completed his postgraduate prosthetic degrees at Northwestern and New York Universities. He was ABC certified in 1980 and earned his Fellow from the American Academy of O&P in 2000. He was elected to the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association board of directors in 1999 and served as president in 2004. Locally, he is past president of the Massachusetts Society of O&P and played a major role in the passing of the “Massachusetts Prosthetic Parity Law”. He is passionate about his field and has a long history of active participation in clinical, business and patient organizations. Keith is frequently involved in instructional forums and in-service educational programs. He is a guest lecturer for several college programs. Keith specializes in both upper and lower extremity prosthetics and profoundly enjoys his patient practice.

MARK TAGGART, CO
Operations Manager

Mark Taggart CO,  Maine Orthotics and Prosthetics

Mark is also certified orthotist with over 25 years of experience.  His career began at
Maine Orthotics and Prosthetics and after working in the prosthetics department of
the VA Maine Health Care System for the last six years, he is back to help with the
overall management of the business.                

        "I enjoy every aspect of this field, from the complex biomechanical patient 
        evaluations
to the high tech componentry we use in the fabrication of our
       
products.  It is a pleasure working for the orthotic and prosthetic provider 
       
of choice for Southern Maine and beyond."
